The State Oversight Academy is hosting its first symposium!
SOA’s goal is to connect academics and practitioners to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of legislative oversight. Our first SOA symposium pairs oversight scholars with oversight practitioners who serve as elected state lawmakers or legislative staff. Each scholar will present their working paper followed by in-depth feedback from our legislative reviewers. The paper discussion will conclude with questions from the audience.
